Baggage services at DXB Airport
When it comes to traveling, we all know that dealing with luggage can be the most cumbersome part, especially if you’re traveling with a large group or children. At our airport, we understand this challenge, and that’s why we offer a comprehensive range of services to make your travel experience easier and more convenient.
Dubai International (DXB)
Porters:
If you’re departing from Terminal 3, our attentive porters are available at the entrance to assist you with your luggage. And when you arrive at Terminal 3, you can find them by the baggage reclaim carousels, ready to help. To enjoy their assistance, there is a fixed cost of AED40, which should be paid directly to the porter. For families requiring a larger trolley, the cost is AED100.
Trolleys:
To make your journey more comfortable, we provide complimentary trolleys conveniently located throughout the airport for your convenience.
Baggage wrapping:
Our baggage wrapping service is available at the check-in areas. We recommend weighing your bags before wrapping them to avoid any unnecessary delays at the check-in counter. The pricing for baggage wrapping is as follows:
- Terminals 1, 2, and DWC:
- AED 30 for each standard size bag
- AED 60 for each oversize bag
- Terminal 3:
- AED 40 for each standard size bag
- AED 80 for each oversize bag
Short-term storage:
For those needing temporary storage, both Terminals 1 and 3 offer 24/7 storage services. However, please note that this service is not available at Terminal 2. Here are the details for each terminal:
- Terminal 1:
- Cost: AED40 for 12 hours or less for standard size luggage (maximum dimensions of 21 by 24 by 11 inches)
- Cost: AED50 for 12 hours or less for non-standard size luggage or valuable luggage (large bags larger than 21 by 24 by 11 inches)
- Location: Dnata Baggage Services, Arrival level, near Boots Pharmacy and Etisalat
- Terminal 3:
- Cost: AED35 for 12 hours or less for standard size luggage (maximum dimensions of 21 by 24 by 11 inches)
- Cost: AED40 for 12 hours or less for non-standard size luggage or valuable luggage (large bags larger than 21 by 24 by 11 inches)
- Location: Emirates Left Luggage, Arrival level, near Exit 1, behind Boots Pharmacy
Baggage delivery service:
As an added convenience, Emirates Airlines offers a dedicated baggage delivery service within the UAE for its passengers. To book this service, please visit the baggage counter in the Arrivals hall of Terminal 3, near exit 1. The cost for delivering up to four bags within the UAE is either AED200 or AED250, depending on the destination. Each additional bag incurs a charge of AED10. Dubai World Central (DWC)
Trolleys:
To assist you with your luggage, we provide complimentary trolleys at various convenient locations throughout Dubai World Central Airport.
